In Tripoli War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 2814843 Warrant Officer Class I (R.S.M.) Joseph Younger, serving with the Seaforth Highlanders, who died 21/01/1943.

He was killed in the Battle of the Hills, advance to Tripoli 20th to 21st January 1941. His unit was the 152 (Highland) Brigade which was one of the Brigades of the 51st Highland Division.

He was the brother of Sgt. A. Younger who is buried in South Shields.

He is remembered at Westoe in W101.08 page 96
