Sidney Tucker was a reservist and was employed at Palmer's Works in Jarrow. He was called up for the 1st Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. He leaves a widow and a child age three when he was killed.

He resided at 38 Wreigh Street, Hebburn, Durham. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Tucker, of Lower Mortlake Road, Richmond, Surrey, husband of Lydia Tucker, of 2 Crown Cottage, West Drayton, Middlesex.
