On the Ypres Menin Gate Memorial is the name of 7931 Private Henry Graham serving with the 1st Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers who died 1/03/1915.

Henry Graham was born on the 14th October 1890, at Jarrow, he was the son of (the late) Ralph Graham, and his wife Mary, (52 Pearson Place, Jarrow), daughter of Alexander and Jane Coulter.

Henry was educated at Dunn Street Council School. He had enlisted on the 21st June 1908. Henry served six years with the colours, then worked as a Labourer at Hawthorns Leslie.

He re-enlisted on the 6th August 1914, and was sent to France in September. He was killed in action in France on the 1st March 1915. He was unmarried.
