Ali, F. & M., civilians, 1941
In South Shields (Harton) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of Ali Fazil, civilian, who was killed in the Market Place during the bombing of South Shields on 30/09/1941.

Also buried there is his wife, Mary, who died in the same incident.

They are remembered at Westoe in W101.08 page 3
