In Monk Hesleden (Blackhall) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 2095793 Aircraftwoman 1st Class Constance Lorrison, serving with the Women's Auxiliary Air Force who died 27/09/1942.

ACW1 Lorrison is recorded as ‘Died on Active Service’ in Casualty communique No. 188, published in Flight Magazine of January 7th 1943, page 28. Her death was registered at Stafford.

She is remembered in Blackhall on B144.01
