On the Runnymede Memorial is the name of 574141 Leading Aircraftman Matthew Frank Craggs, serving with the Royal Air Force who died 05/07/1941.

Simon Glancey has submitted the following:

L.A.C. Craggs was lost aboard the troopship Anselm, which was torpedoed some 300 miles north of the Azores on its way to Freetown, West Africa, with the loss of some 250 lives.

He is remembered in Blackhall Colliery on B144.01
