On the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Ypres, Belgium, is the name of 2414 Private Jack Stewart, serving with 'W' Company, 4th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment, who died 24/05/1915.

He was born 1893 at Darlington, the son of Henry and Ann J. Stewart, of 47 Corporation Road Darlington.
