On the Singapore Memorial is the name of 1523895 Warrant Officer Peter Webb, serving with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died 06/10/1945.

Simon Glancey has submitted the following:

W/O Webb was killed when Consolidated Liberator VI EW236 'K', nicknamed 'Audrey's Back', was lost in bad weather between the Cocos Islands and Singapore. The Liberator had been ferrying supplies, and was lost without trace along with the eight crew members.

Also lost in the same incident was F/Off. James Conway Burns, D.F.M.

He is remembered in Billingham on B139.05 and B139.09
