In Bedford House Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 19376 Private Henry James Bradley, serving with the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers who died 09/08/1916.

In St. Cuthbert’s Churchyard is a family headstone which reads:

In loving memory of Cornelius beloved husband of Anne Maria Bradley died through an accident at Dorothy Colliery December 14th 1916 aged 70 years, also James Henry Bradley killed in action in France August 9th 1916 aged 23 years, also Hannah Bradley who died July 17th 1918 aged 46 years, also David Curran who died July 24th 1918 aged 41 years, also Cornelius Lloyd Whitaker who died August 4th 1916 aged 3 years and 4 months, also Ernest Bradley who died June (illegible) - Ever remembered by his loving wife Annie Bradley - "At rest."
