In Belgrade War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of T/48957 Serjeant Albert Grice, serving with the Royal Army Service Corps who died 04/09/1944.

Heslop’s Local Advertiser 21/09/1946 carries a notice which reads:
“Grice – Windy Nook, Albert, killed in Italy, September 4th, 1944.”

He is remembered in Windy Nook on W95.01
