22nd February 1917 Age 27

The Roll of Honour for Emmaville Colliery states he was a Reservist, joined August 10th 1914 and died of Shell Shock 22nd February 1917.

William Armstrong is remembered at Crawcrook on C97.05 and C97.06 at Greenside on G42.03 and at Ryton on R33.01
