On Chatham Naval Memorial is the name of TynesideZ/8699 Signalman Harold Statters, serving with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who died 17/12/1918.

In Gateshead (Saltwell) Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:

In
Loving Memory
of
Mabel
dearly beloved and only daughter of
Joseph & Frances Statters
who died May 25th 1914,
in her 21st year.
Also Harold,
youngest son of the above
who lost his life at sea, December
7th 1918 on H.M.S. Duchess of Kent,
Aged 19 years and 9 months
Also the above
Joseph Statters,
who died February 3rd 1940
aged 78 years.
Also the above
Frances Statters
who died March 25th 1944
aged 77 years.
