Neville, T., A/Smn., 1918
In Fifteen Ravine British Cemetery, Villers-Plouich is the Commonwealth War Grave of Tyneside Z/1012 Able Seaman Thomas Neville, serving with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who died 14/01/1918.

Thomas Neville was born on in Pelton on 20th April 1890. He married Margaret in 1914 and initially they lived in Pelton but later moved to 33 High Street, Wrekenton.

He served in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve with the Howe Battalion Royal Naval Division, a shore based infantry unit. His service number was Tyneside. Z./1012, and his rank was Able Seaman. He was posted to Mudros 09/04/1916 to man anti-aircraft guns, but was returned home before being posted to the Western Front. He died from presumed natural causes on 14th January 1918. He is buried in Fifteen Ravine British Cemetery, Villers Plouich, France.

He is remembered in Eighton Banks on E50.01 and E50.02 and at Pelton on P26.01
