At Vlamertingehe Military Cemetery, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, is the Commonwealth War Grave of S/2146 Sergeant Tom Whitfield serving with the 11th Battalion Rifle Brigade who died 11/07/1916.

His name is included in a booklet on the names on the Wolsingham Cenotaph compiled by Morris Ward.
