Coates, T.V., L/Cpl., 1918
In Dundee (Balgay) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 203985 Lance Corporal Thomas Valentine Coates, serving with the Durham Light Infantry, who died 30/04/1918.

His name is included in a booklet on the names on the Wolsingham Cenotaph compiled by Morris Ward, which adds that his last known occupation was as a Steel Moulder's Apprentice, Wolsingham Steelworks.

He is remembered in Wolsingham on W128.02 W128.05 and in the D.L.I. Book of Remembrance page 185
