He answered the call,
His duty nobly done.

Simon Glancey has submitted the following:

Sgt. Reah was killed when de Havilland Mosquito B. Mk. IV JH817 of 60 O.T.U. (Operational Training Unit) crashed on a training flight. The unit’s O.R.B. (Operational Record Book) records that the Mosquito crashed at Elliston Farm Coalville, Leicestershire in bad weather, killing both crew members.

He is remembered in Bishop Auckland on B140.06 and B140.12
