James Arnold Robson was born 10th November 1890. In 1903 he lived at 28 Whitehouse Lane, Ushaw Moor, Co Durham. His father James was a Checkweigher. He was admitted to Durham Johnston School on 30/04/1903, aged 12.
He enlisted into the Royal Engineers as a Sapper Regt Nos 1838. 2nd/1st Northumbria Field Corp. He gained the British War Medal and Victory Medal.
He died on 09/11/1916 age 26.
