21st September 1918 Age 19

Coroner's Report No. 404 23/09/1918:

"Laurence McGowan, 19 years Pte No. 62272, K.O.Y.L.I. Records York. Home address 2 Green Street, Spennymoor. Died in 1st Northern General Hospital at 8.35am on 21st September 1918.

After enquiries the Coroner granted a Certificate. No inquest necessary. Injured at Seat of War."
