The headstone reads:-

In loving memory of
Peter
beloved son of
Walter & Hilda Dale
died Sept. 4th 1941
aged 12 years
Also his brother
Reginald Desmond Dale (R.N.)
died on active service May 28th 1944
aged 19 years

Reginald Desmond Dale is remembered at Spennymoor on S132.02 and S132.04
