In Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York, United States of America is the Commonwealth War Grave of Sub-Lieutenant (A) James Taylorson serving with H M.S. Saker Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who died 17/02/1945.

Son of James and Louisa Taylorson, of Radford, Coventry, Warwickshire, England.

In Spennymoor (Tudhoe) Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:-

In loving memory of Sarah Ellen
dearly beloved wife of the late
L/Cpl. T. Blair D.C.M., 1914-18
died November 7th 1945
Also Sub.Lieut. James Taylorson
Killed in his country's service
dearly beloved grandson of the above.
