Arnett, W., Pte., 1915
In Ripon Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 2776 Private William Arnett, serving with the Durham Light Infantry who died 23/09/1915.

He was an assistant teacher at Dean Bank School. A photograph of him was unveiled at the school in March 1918.

Soldiers Died in the Great War states that he resided in Ripon.

William Arnett is remembered in Ferryhill on F38.02, in the NUT list of Teachers who died in the Great War and in the D.L.I. Book of Remembrance page 259
