Laverick, Raymond, Sgt., 1944
In Hanover War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 1528071 Sergeant Raymond Laverick, serving with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died 14/01/1944.

Sgt. Laverick was serving with 550 squadron. He was a crew member of Lancaster I DV 306 BQ-E which took off from North Killingholme on a mission to Braunschweig, where the aircraft was shot down. All died except one who was taken prisoner.

This was an evening when 42 aircraft, with an average crew of 7, were lost.
