em>Northern Echo 23/07/1920 reports his death as follows:

Ex-Lance-Corpl. F.W. Graham, West Yorks Regiment, has died in War Pensions Hospital at Sunderland, as the result of after-effects of having been gassed while on active service. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Graham, of Hamsterley Colliery, and formerly of Leadgate. Two of his brothers - Andrew and Robert - were killed on active service. The funeral took place at Christ Church, Hamsterley.

Francis William Graham is remembered at Hamsterley Colliery on H140.03 on which he is called “Frank”.
