Gone to his rest through the pathway of duty, Venturing his life that others might live; Such are the words of the tablet of beauty, in letters immortal, in honour we give. Ever remembered by his sorrowing mother, Aunt Jennie and all friends.

He is remembered at Annfield Plain on A38.01 and A38.11
