Pulpit stair rail, with a plaque 4 inches high by 5 inches wide (104 mm x 126 mm) mounted on the newel post. The lettering is painted by hand using sans serif capitals throughout.

Oak rail, metal plaque.

Fred Skelly
Churchwarden of this Church
for many years
who passed to his rest Nov.1924

In memory also of his son
George Alexander ('Lex')
Pilot Officer R.A.F.
Missing over Calais Aug. 19th 1941
aged 25 yrs.
This rail was presented by
his wife and daughter.
