1. The creator of the Roll of Honour, Mr. Bell, gave it to the Committee as a token of esteem and appreciation of the work and service provided by the St.John Ambulance Brigade.

2. At the ceremony, awards were made to those who had passed examinations.

3. The single name from 1939-45 seems to have been added later.
