Unveiled 2nd December 1920 by Rev. J.C. Jackson of Spennymoor.
Memorial Description
Plaque, carved to resemble a scroll, set on a pattress roughly shaped like a shield but with elaborate top. On the pattress above the shield is a cross. The names are in a single column on the plaque, lettering incised and blackened using Old English lettering for the top line, serif capitals for the names and rest of the dedication, with the quotation at the bottom in italics.
