Memorial Description

Roll of Honour in wood frame. 30 inches (912mm) high by 20 inches (504mm) wide. A hand oil painted sheet of card with pillars at each side and flags and banners at the top. The names are handwritten in three columns. At the bottom is a small frame containing the words “Comrades of the two Great Wars”.

Notes

1. The memorial was removed from St. Margaret’s because the vicar considered it “distasteful”.

2. St. Margaret's closed 19/04/2004 and was demolished in 2008.

3. The Memorial has been repainted in the past, and 'touched up' to restore the condition.
