Memorial Description

Plaque of white marble on black marble surround, approx. 3 feet (914mm) high x 2 feet (608mm) wide. There is a pedimented top in which a shield and crossed rifles are carved in half relief. The names are listed in two columns. Lettering is in elaborate Roman capitals for the title, Gothic lower case for the dedication, sans serif capitals for the names and sans serif italic capitals for the rest of the dedication at the bottom.

1. From the club membership, 157 served.

2. The name "G.R. Davis" should be "G.H. Davis" according to his great-great grandson Graeme Robson.

3. The War Memorial now has an addition of a roofed peaked border painted white.

4. The letters have been over painted with gold paint.
