(Dedicated to 75 employees of Castner-Kellner Alkali Co., who served, of whom 9 fell).

1. "Mr. Balfour next presented illuminated short addresses, neatly framed, to the relatives of the fallen heroes, and similar addresses, but differently worded, to those who had returned, expressing the hope that they would cherish the souvenirs and hand them down to future generations."

2. Correspondence by Dr. Gould with I.C.I. (who took over Castner-Kellner) indicated that they have no idea what happened to this memorial.
