Original Location

Our Lady and St. Aidan's Roman Catholic Church (formerly St. Aidan’s Chapel) Rosehill Road.

Present Location

Following the demolition of the church, the crucifix was taken to Holy Cross Cemetery, St. Peter’s Road, Wallsend, NZ 308315 and placed in the Roman Catholic section.

Memorial Description

Crucifix approx. 5m high on a base approx. 2m square. The dedication is carried on the front, and the names are listed in three columns on both sides. The lettering is incised using sans serif capitals throughout.
