Unveiled May 2nd? 1921 by Brigadier Widdrington of Newton Hall. Dedicated by Rt. Rev. Bishop Ormsby.

Memorial Description

Chancel stalls, carved oak. There is a single row on either side of the chancel.
Altar rails of elaborate wrought iron design, painted black.
Plaque mounted on wall, approx. 26 inches high x 40 inches wide (660 mm x 1.01 m ). There is a border of intertwined rose stems and leaves, with dog roses at intervals, and one in each corner. The cross at the top between the dates is enamelled red. The names are listed in two columns. Lettering is in Roman capitals.

Brass plaque; oak stalls; iron railings.

1914 + 1918 / To the Undying Memory / of all those connected with this Parish who laid / down their lives in the Great War.
They Died That We Might Live.
In their Honour these chancel stalls have been erected and the old altar rails replaced.
