Unveiled 8th July 1922 by Col. Thomlinson of Seaton Carew; dedicated by the Bishop of Jarrow.

Memorial Description

Plaque 2 feet 9 inches high x 4 feet wide set on a wood pattress 3 inches wider. There is a border of twined leaves. The upper corners are rounded off and hatched. The names are listed in six columns. The lettering is elongated Roman capitals for the dedication and quotation, and in lower case for the names.
