Memorial Description

Cupboard with seat. The dedication is carved and gilded in a single line in a panel along the top of the cupboard, using Roman capitals. Resting on the top is a carved cross, also gilded. The names are incised in gilded Roman capitals on the inside of the cupboard.

Materials used

Dark oak from fragments of the former reredos.

In memory of the sacrifices made by our people in the Great War 1914-18 and specially by those who laid down their lives.
