Plaque 8 inches high x about 18 inches wide. There is a single line border. The dedication is in the centre. The names are listed in a single column on left and right. Lettering is Roman capitals.

Longbenton North. / Presented to Seaton Burn School by the / Women’s Voluntary Service of Seaton Burn & District / to commemorate the supreme sacrifice made / by the 20 men who fell in 1939-1945 war. / And 2 children killed by enemy action.
