Unveiled 1st August 1920 by Rev. P.W. Francis, M.A., Vicar.
Memorial Description
Plaque, 2 feet (608mm) high x 2 feet 6 inches (758mm) wide with rounded corners resting on a pattress which echoes the shape. At centre top is a cross, incised and blackened. Lettering is a mix of fonts.

our dear son
Gunner Robert Grundy, Tank Corps,
who fell in France, August 8th 1918
aged 21 years.
