Plaque 1 foot 6 inches high x 1 foot wide set in a wood frame with moulded edge. The main plaque has an elaborate border ending in circles at each corner, the pattern raised on a red and black background. Names are listed in a single column in sans serif capitals.

1. This new building, built 2002, incorporates four former separate churches.
2. It is thought that there were two plaques in the Seaham Primitive Methodist Church, commemorating 19 who died and 44 who served, which were unveiled by Rev. W. Robson, circuit minister, date unknown.
