May 1st 1927 by Marquis of Londonderry. Dedicated by Rev. C.R. Appleton (vicar of Seaham Harbour).

Memorial Description

Cross of sacrifice of standard Blomfield design, 20 feet (6.08m) high, on octagonal base. It has a bronze Crusader’s sword on one side, but not the other. Lettering is in Roman capitals.
