Dedicated January 22nd 1917 by Dr. Quirk, Bishop of Jarrow.
Memorial Description
Stained glass window of three lights. The central light depicts Christ on the Cross. Above him is an angel with a scroll bearing the words “Be thou faithful unto death. Rev.II.10”. The dedication is carried along the bottom of the light, using elaborate white capitals.
The lights bear individual dedications. See Notes below.

1. The central light is dedicated to Capt. Vincent Burgoyne-Johnson, eldest son of Major & Mrs. Burgoyne-Johnson. Captain Luther Vincent Burgoyne- Johnson is also recorded on a War Memorial at Saltburn on Sea - one of several places the Burgoyne-Johnson family had property.
2. The south window is dedicated to the memory of Private Edward Rust, the elder son of the Vicar, Rev. Rust.
3. The north light is dedicated to other soldier members of the parish.
4. The church closed in February 2011. The stained glass windows are considered to be part of the fabric of the building and will remain in situ.
5. 2015 - The church has been converted to a private dwelling.
