Memorial Description
Stained glass window of a single light. To the left is a knight in golden armour. Kneeling beside him is an angel offering him his sword. The dedication is carried in the bottom right hand corner in white archaic lettering on black. Above it are the two badges of (Left) the Royal Flying Corps and (right) the Durham Light Infantry.
"The subject represented been taken from Ephesians V 13 - Wherefore take upon you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand."
