Memorial Description

Plaque, 2 feet 6 inches high x 2 feet wide (762mm x 604mm) very plain. The names for 1939-45 are underneath those for 1914-18, both printed in two columns. The lettering is in Roman capitals.

1. One cannot help wondering whether the choice of copper for the memorial to the Police was intentional.

2. A Service of Remembrance was held for those who gave their lives in 1939-45 in St.Nicholas' Cathedral 1st December 1946.
