A label still on the back of the frame bears the date 28/5/20.

Memorial Description

Roll of Honour behind glass in a simple, narrow wooden frame, measuring 2 feet 6 inches high by 2 feet wide. There is a wide patterned border of scrolled leaves, incorporating a knight's helmet and a cross at centre on both sides, and crossed flags at centre bottom. The names are printed in two columns, with the names of those who died having a red asterisk to the right of the name.

Mawson, Swan and Morgan. The label on the back gives a serial number of 1656.

Notes

1. The Roll was found early 1991 when posters stuck on to the glass (inside and out) were removed.

2. This building was the Congregational Church, until it combined with St. George's Presbyterian Church to become the United Reformed Church, when St. George's became the main building and this church was sold. Originally the roll of honour was on the opposite wall to the plaque (M17.10)

3. The Roll was transferred to St. George’s c2000
