Unveiled 9th June 1949 by Lt. Col. Jack L. Sanderson, Commanding Officer of 7th Batt., R.N.F.(T.A.). Dedicated by Canon F. Baker, Rector of Morpeth.

Memorial Description

Plaque 3 feet 6 inches high x 2 feet 6 inches wide. The surrounding narrow patterned border and various dividing lines are enamelled in red. The words "Pro Patria" are in elaborate lettering. The names are listed in two columns in Roman lower case.

1. Lt. Col. Sanderson was the son of Alderman and Mrs. W.S. Sanderson of Morpeth, and a former pupil at the school. He had just received his appointment of the command of the 7th Batt. R.F.A.
