Notes

1. The building was erected in 1939.

2. Mr. Evetts described the window thus: “The window depicts St. Andrew, who, with his left hand, draws a net full of fish from the sea. His right hand is raised to denote the Martyrdom he suffered. symbolized by the Saltire cross which is at the head of the window. The saint stands upon his native heath, in which the blae-berry plant is introduced. The symbols of the burning bush and the open book are represented at either side of the figure. At the bottom corners of the window sea plants form a finish to a decorative border, sea parsnip is shown on the left, and sea ragweed on the right”.
