Memorial Description

Roll of Honour approx. 10 inches high x 6 inches wide, behind glass in an oak frame. It has a purple border, with purple violets in each corner. At the top is a red cross. On one side are the words "Greater love hath no / man than this", and on the other side "That a man lay down his / life for his friends". Underneath these are the words "Roll of Honour", all in Gothic print. This is followed by "Names of the men of this parish who have given / their lives for their King and Country" in printed italic script. At the bottom is the quotation. The names are handwritten in two columns.
