The names are listed in three columns, handwritten on parchment. At the bottom are the tiny letters "Mowbrays 336" which suggests a standard form. At the foot are the words "For King and Country" with red capital letters.

Present condition

The parchment has been touched up where the lettering had faded, and placed in an oak frame with glass front.

Notes

1. The red cross at the top was re-touched by those who rediscovered the memorial and wished to restore the faded writing. The red ink used ran slightly, so a black border was drawn round the relevant letters.
