Memorial Description

Roll of Honour, hand painted, with the names inscribed in six columns. There is a sinlge blue line round the edge. The top of the roll is shaped into ten scallops, each containing a painted flower, the stems of which go down the sides. At the bottom, the dedication is contained in a painted scroll with flowers at each end. The Roll of Honour sits inside a wide rectangular wooden frame, with fretted patterning on two plain panels on either side, and shaped into scallops at the top where it frames the Roll. The names are listed in six columns in plain black capitals. The dedication and quotation are in a variety of Roman, Gothic and italic letters in a variety of colours.
This has now been taken out of the elaborate wood surround and placed in a moulded wood frame.
