Memorial Description

Roll of Honour in wood frame 2 feet 9 inches high x 2 feet 2 inches wide and 1 inch in width. The paper roll is pre-printed in a popular design. In the top corners, below the words “Roll of Honour” are a shield with the dates of the outbreak of the war in the left and the dates of peace and armistice in the right. The words “For King and Country” are on a scroll between these. The names are listed in two columns, handwritten, with illuminated capitals.
