Memorial Description
Stained glass east window of three lancet lights. The central one is 8 feet 6 inches high x 1 foot 2 inches wide, the two outer ones are 6 feet high x 1 foot 2 inches wide,
The center light shows Christ in Majesty crowned as King, with two angels at his feet bearing a chalice between them. Below them is a scroll bearing the words “This is the Victory, even our Faith”.
The left hand light shows St.George with his foot on the dragon’s head. With him is St.Dorcas with a basket giving alms to a beggar. At the foot of the light is a shield bearing the red St.George’s Cross with laurel leaf surround.
The right hand light (6 feet high x 1 foot 2 inches wide) shows St.Agnes with a lamb at her foot and St.Michael behind her carrying a lance which is piercing Satan. Below is a shield with a green cross and laurel wreath.
The panel is 3 feet 7 inches high x 2 feet 3 inches wide. The dedication and names are incised into one of the panels, the names in a single column, using Roman capitals throughout.

1. The panelling for the choir stalls was erected in memory of Joseph Haworth, vicar of Collierly 1937-42.
