Memorial Description

Organ Restoration.
There are two plaques, the top one 4 inches high x 6 inches wide, the bottom one 2 inches high x 6 inches wide, very plain, on the same oak pattress, which is 7 inches square. Each has a single line border. The upper one gives the dedication and names in Roman lettering.. The lower plaque gives the details of the removal from the organ in sans serif capitals.

This plaque was removed / from the original organ / when the present instrument / was installed in April 1978.

Notes

1. The National Pipe Organ Register states that the pre-1918 organ was replaced by a second-hand one. There are no further details. The next organ was installed in 1978, so it looks as if the former restored organ has gone.
